Onslaught news facts.

Mexico tour postponed!!

No automatic alt text available.
It is with great sadness I have to report that due to a close family bereavement within the band the tour of Mexico has had to be postponed.

The tour will be rescheduled as soon as possible though, hopefully within the next month or so and this is being worked on by our tireless Mexican promoter Metalunion Prods right now. It has NOT been cancelled. Any tickets sold will still be valid for the new dates, and we'll work on a special ultra aggressive set just for you crazy guys and gals!
Again our apologies to our amazing Mexican fans, but we will all be thrashing out with you as soon as the new dates are confirmed and I'm sure that in the mean time you will all join me in giving sincere condolences to our Onslaught brother for his very personal and private loss.
Just to reiterate my friends, the tour is just postponed NOT cancelled. See you all soon!

Onslaught would like to clarify that we will 'NOT' be appearing at 'Hammerfest 2017' even though the festival continues to wrongly advertise our appearance..
Onslaught informed the festival way back in 'JULY 2016' that we would not be appearing and asked them to remove the band name from their promotions with immediate effect..
After 5 further requests over the past 7 months they still continue to use our name on their media..!
We are extremely disappointed that we have been so blatantly ignored and very sorry you guys / ladies have been completely mislead.. It seems like we're not the only advertised band in this situation.. :(
Thrash til the Death..!!

ONSLAUGHT To Become First International Thrash Band To Perform In Lebanon

ONSLAUGHT will become the first international thrash metal act to play in Lebanon on June 10.

The band's appearance at The Station venue in Beirut will be a special climax to "The Force 30th Anniversary" world tour, which kicked off in November 2016 with dates in United Kingdom and Ireland.

Nige Rockett: "This is something really special for us and a huge honor for ONSLAUGHT to be invited to perform in Lebanon. We have no idea what to expect, but I know it's gonna be another crazy, amazing adventure."

Having recently returned from the hugely successful Latin America leg of the tour, where the band played nineteen shows in nineteen days across eleven countries, the band next head to Russia for two shows in St. Petersburg (Backstage club on March 17) and Moscow (Brooklyn Hall on March 18).

While in Brazil, ONSLAUGHT recorded a brand-new 360-degree, interactive promo video of a pre-tour rehearsal at Tellus Studios in Rio De Janiero.

OVERKILL, ONSLAUGHT, UGLY KID JOE, MONSTER MAGNET Featured On 'Snaggletooth: A Tribute To Lemmy'

Metalville Records has released a Lemmy Kilmister (MOTÖRHEAD) tribute album called "Snaggletooth: A Tribute To Lemmy".

This is not just a classic tribute record — bands like OVERKILL, DESTRUCTION, MONSTER MAGNET, UGLY KID JOE, MONSTER MAGNET and ONSLAUGHT are playing their favorite songs. The master himself, Lemmy, is on this record with three tracks — a fine version of one of the greatest QUEEN songs, "Tie Your Mother Down"; "Love Me Forever", a duet with Doro Pesch; and a great rare track, "Rock City Night", that he did with Richard Kruspe from RAMMSTEIN. The tribute also includes exclusive new songs, "Killed By Death" by German rockers KÄRBHOLZ, and "Burner", performed by German thrash heroes PERZONAL WAR. BLACK EXPLOSION from Sweden closes out this extraordinary compilation with "Location 9", inspired by early HAWKWIND days.

"Snaggletooth: A Tribute To Lemmy" track listing:

01. OVERKILL - "Overkill"
02. ONSLAUGHT - Bomber
03. Lemmy Kilmister and Doro Pesch - "Love Me Forever
04. UGLY KID JOE feat. Phil Campbell - "Ace Of Spades
05. Lemmy Kilmister - "Tie Your Mother Down
06. KÄRBHOLZ - "Killed By Death
07. Lemmy Kilmister and Richard Kruspe - "Rock City Night
08. DESTRUCTION - "We are the Roadcrew
09. PERZONAL WAR - "Burner
10. KORPIKLAANI - "Iron Fist
11. MONSTER MAGNET - "Brainstorm
12. BLACK EXPLOSION - "Location 9

Lemmy, who celebrated his 70th birthday last Christmas Eve (December 24), learned two days later that he was afflicted with an aggressive form of cancer. He died two days later, on December 28, at his home in Los Angeles.

The MOTÖRHEAD frontman had dealt with several health issues over the past few years, including heart trouble, forcing him to cut back on his famous smoking and Jack Daniels habits.

The band canceled a number of shows last year, although they did manage to complete one final European tour on December 11, 2015.

In a 2015 interview with Kerrang! magazine, Lemmy was asked how it makes him feel when people call him a legend. He responded: "As long as they don't believe it, that's alright." He continued: "Who wouldn’t want a hero somewhere in their lives? And it might as well be me, 'cause I don't take the piss out of them for it, and I don't laugh at them because of it." But he added, "I'm not a legend. I never thought of myself as being special in particular. Maybe I make brilliant music, but that's about it."
